Privacy Policy

How this website handles personal data from readers and from people who write to us through the contact form.

Scope and operator

Who this policy covers and who runs the site

This policy describes how ViewNeural Digital handles personal data collected through this website. It applies to visitors who read the site and to anyone who submits a message through the contact form. The site operator is ViewNeural Digital, Avenida Nueva Providencia 1800, 7500000 Providencia, Región Metropolitana, Chile.

The site publishes articles and comparisons about building websites and mobile apps. It is a reading resource, not an account-based service: you do not register, you do not sign in, and no part of the site asks for payment details or identity documents. Because of that, the personal data we handle is limited to what a reader chooses to send us and what a web server records in the ordinary course of serving pages.

We keep the wording here plain on purpose. If a term is unclear, write to the address in the contact section below and we will explain what it means for your request.

Where the data comes from

Two sources only: the contact form you choose to fill in, and the technical record every web server keeps while it delivers pages.

Data we collect

What you send us

The contact form asks for your name, your email address, and the text of your message. Nothing else is required, and there is no hidden field collecting anything extra.

name, email, message

What your visit generates

Standard server logs record which pages were requested, when they were requested, and the browser type that asked for them. This is the ordinary record of serving a page, not a profile of you.

pages, time, browser

What we never ask for

We do not collect payment information, and we do not ask for identity documents. If a message arrives claiming to need card numbers or passport scans on our behalf, it did not come from this site.

no card data, no ID

Why we collect it, and on what basis

Each type of data has one purpose and one legal footing. Neither is used to build a picture of you as a person.

Contact form messages

We use what you write to read your message and answer it. That includes corrections to an article, a suggestion for a topic worth covering, or a question about how a framework comparison was put together. The message is not added to a mailing list and it is not used to send you anything you did not ask for.

Legal basis: where consent is required, we rely on the consent you give when submitting the form. You can withdraw that consent for future contact at any time by writing to the address below; withdrawal does not affect processing that already took place.

Server log records

Logs are used to keep the site running, to diagnose errors when a page fails to load, and to understand which articles are actually being read. That last part tells us where to spend writing time; it is not used for advertising, and we do not build profiles of individual visitors.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a working website. You can object to processing on that basis, and we will look at your request in light of what the site needs to function.

Note on advertising

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not share contact form messages with advertisers or marketing partners.

Retention

We keep data for as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for, and then we remove it. We do not keep personal data indefinitely for no reason.

Contact form messages

Kept while the enquiry and any follow-up are being handled, then removed. If a correction is published, the message behind it is not archived for its own sake.

until the enquiry closes

Server logs

Retained for a limited period for operational purposes, then deleted or aggregated so that individual visits are no longer distinguishable.

Cookie data

Cookies used for basic functionality are described in the cookie policy, including how to clear them from your browser.

Sharing and third parties

We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by service providers that host the site or deliver email, acting on our instructions and only for those purposes. In practice that means a hosting provider storing the files that make the pages load, and a mail provider carrying a reply to the address you gave us.

Those providers are not free to use your message for their own marketing, and they are not given access to anything beyond what their task requires. We do not share contact form messages with advertisers or marketing partners, and we do not pass reader data to third parties for profiling.

If we ever need to disclose information because the law requires it, we will limit the disclosure to what is actually demanded and, where we are permitted to, tell you that a request was made.

Who touches the data

Hosting and email delivery, on our instructions, for those purposes only.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold, correct it, or have it removed. Requests go to the contact address below and are handled within a reasonable period.

fa-eye

See what we hold

Ask for a copy of the personal data connected to your email address. We will describe where it came from and why it is kept.

fa-pen

Correct or delete it

If something we hold is wrong, tell us and we will fix it. You can also ask for deletion where no other obligation requires us to keep the record.

fa-hand

Object to processing

You can object to processing based on legitimate interest, including the log records kept for site operation, and we will review the request.

Include enough detail for us to identify the data you are asking about, such as the email address you used and roughly when you wrote to us.

Cookies and similar technologies

The site may use cookies for basic functionality, such as remembering that you have already dismissed a notice or keeping a page behaving the same way between visits. Details are set out in the cookie policy, which lists the categories in use and what each one does.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including clearing the ones already stored. Disabling some of them may affect how the site works — for example, a preference may not be remembered between visits. Blocking cookies does not prevent you from reading any article on the site.

Changes to this policy

When something here changes in a way that affects what we collect or how long we keep it, this page is updated and the review date at the top moves with it. Smaller wording changes are made in place. If you have an open request with us, we will answer it under the version of the policy that was current when you wrote.
